A process for the preparation of novel crystal glass mosaic tile comprising cutting float/ sheet glass to easy to handle size, washing, drying, printing with glass colour and mineral oil as per desired colour followed by second, third printing with colours and mineral oil applying white coating with mineral oil and glass colour, drying, applying second layer of white coating, marking cutting guides, cutting to small pieces, passing through furnace at temperature around 100°C, gradually increasing temperature to about 825°C to 900°C and gradually decreasing the temperature to about 70°C and collecting the small glass chips, and arranging into desired combination.
