AVOIDING COLLISION ON WRONG LINE OF A DOUBLE LINE OF A RAILWAY

The invention has proposed creation of , for the first time anywhere, except railway sections provided with cab signaling, a new kind of Absolute Stop Signal, of the best type available in use to achieve maximum safety" like Multi Aspect Colour Light Stinals in use on trunk routes in India, to be designated as "NO ENTRY STOP SIGNALS," namely signals A, B, C and D as shown in diagram in sheet 1, , each displaying only the RED aspect permanently, and so located as to prevent the entry of a train into or out of the respective "wrong line", pertaining to each of them, between stations X and Y, and thereby prevent collisions, which had taken place earlier due to human error in the existing practice. At just Rs 1.2 lakhs per station for the 4 signals, there is a great potential to avoid the loss of hundreds of lives and loss of crores of rupees to a railway, by averting collisions as above. The simple nature of the works enables taking them up ant large number of stations for early completion.
