The closure plug (2) is used in conjunction with a diagnostic process necessitating the enlargement of the uterus and closes the cervix after the introduction of a fluid, such as a gel. The plug is joined to a connecting hose (3) and an injection syringe (4). The hose clamps into an accommodation (15) of a thickened part (7) of the plug, which also acts as a stop, with a tube (8) attached to it. The assembly is provided with a fluid throughflow channel (16). A check valve (14) is also incorporated. Near its free outer end, the tube is provided with pliable ribs (10) of which the external diameter is preferably less than 15 mm. The connecting hose can be coupled to the injection syringe comprising a hand grip (19) connected to a plunger (18) fitted in a cylinder (17) in which gel (20) is located. The stop (7) is connected with a cord (11).
