The pixels (PD) store signal charges (SC1-SCn) proportionate to amount of light input. The vertical transmitters (VCCD1-VCCDn) transmit the signal charges from pixels, to corresponding output units (SF1-SFn) that convert signal charges into signal voltages (SV1-SVn). The signal voltages are then transmitted to corresponding correlated double sampling units (CDS1,CDSn).
