System is for increase of sand masses whereby their erosion is counteracted and its relative stimulation employs a hollow, elongated pipes inserted in ground in areas subject to regular changes in water levels, such as tidal ebb and flow
To counteract the erosion of sand masses, hollow, elongated pipes are inserted in the ground in areas subject to regular water level changes, such as tidal ebb and flow. The part of the pipes inserted in the ground is provided with perforations. In this manner, the pressure drop in the area over which the back-flowing water flows is amplified, whereby the deposit of sand granules carried by the ebbing water is stimulated. The pipes are of a material which offers such resistance against contact by water or sea water that they remain functional in the augmentation of sand masses to such an extent that they are not washed or scarcely so by the flowing water.
