Pivotable links (5, 6) connected to the hatch sections (3, 4) are operated by an actuator cylinder (7). Pairs of pivotable link arms (8, 9) mounted on a common boat section (10) have one end connected to a hatch section and the other connected to a link joint operated by the actuator cylinder. The two link arms are connected to each other via a spacer device.
