High mannose glucocerebrosidase preparations and methods of treating Gaucher disease

A purified high mannose glucocerebrosidase (hmGCB) preparation, wherein each hmGCB has four carbohydrate chains and at least three of the four carbohydrate chains in the hmGCB preparation have seven or more mannose residues of a precursor oligosaccharide. Also described is a pharmaceutical composition comprising the hmGCB preparation for treating Gaucher disease.
