摘要

In a public telecommunication network, spread over a vast area, a virtual AMR-VPN network for remote supervision, reading and control of intelligent consumption meters of the distributed media is created, which is supported by an information system for performing public telecommunication services with added value. The intelligent consumption meters are equipped with a corresponding communication interface and are via the virtual AMR-VPN network connected to the information system for performing the aforementioned functions. The software for performing the control, measurement and application of tariff of the specified intelligent meter is saved to the micro controller of the communication module with the aforementioned standard communication interface for duplex communication in a convenient way. This software also includes functions for processing of measurement data, archiving alarms, processing input and output signals. The processed measurement data, stored data and results, data on alarms remain within a single microcontroller, which increases the operational reliability of the specified intelligent meter and extends the MTBF (mean time between failures) between errors within the meter.
