METHOD FOR ASSESSING DURATION FOR DRAINING SUBCUTANEOUS BASE IN RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY OF VENTRAL HERNIA USING COMBINED TECHNIQUES INCLUDING INSERTION OF POLYPROPYLENE IMPLANT

The method for assessing the duration for draining subcutaneous base in reconstructive surgery of the ventral hernia using the combined techniques including insertion of polypropylene implant consists in installing the perforated draining tubes with the active aspiration in the surgical area and assessing the volume of the draining content. When the volume of the draining content decreases, creatinine is assessed in the draining content and in the blood followed by calculating their ratio. When ratio between creatinine in the draining content and creatinine in the blood is above 1:1, the draining continues. When ratio between creatinine in the draining content and creatinine in the blood is below 1:1, the further draining is terminated.
