METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE SET OF TOPOGRAPHIC MAPS REQUIRED FOR PERFORMING A MILITARY TASK

摘要

The proposed method for determining the set of topographic maps required for performing a military task consists in selecting list of maps, plotting, on the maps, the areas of expected operations, frontier zones, and locations of formations, determining the required number of copies of each map of the set, on 50 % and 100 % scale, according to the normative documents. For the purpose to decrease the labor content when determining the set, the maps are used that correspond to the administrative and territorial division of the locality to which the maps relate.
