The proposed method of complex diagnostics for detecting myocardium dystrophy in sportsmen that is caused by physical overload implies carrying out echocardiography. The method is distinctive by determining the content of troponin I before the physical activity at a veloergometer and 24 hours after the physical activity. If the echocardiography data indicate the hypertrophy and hyperkinesia of the intervenricular septum, extension of the cavity of the left heart ventricle, change of the diastolic filling profile of the left heart ventricle, and the content of troponin increases in comparison with the normal content in the state of inactivity of the patient, the myocardium dystrophy is diagnosed.
