PROCESS FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF DIABETIC GASTROINTESTINAL AUTONOMIC NEUROPATHY

The process for the early diagnosis of the diabetic gastrointestinal autonomic neuropathy comprises X-ray examination of the stomach in the process of its filling with X-ray opaque substance followed by the assessment of motor and evacuation function within 120 minutes and the ultrasound cholecystography with the analysis of gall bladder contractibility after the standard cholagogue breakfast (estimation of the emptying rate for 60 minutes). The type of the functional disorder of the motor and evacuation function of the stomach and the type of the dyskinesia of biliary tracts are assessed. The hypermotoric disorders of the gastric function and hypertonic-hyperkinetic or hyperkinetic-hypertonic type of the dyskinesia of biliary tracts in the patients with diabetes mellitus are suggestive of the early stages of the diabetic gastrointestinalautonomic neuropathy.
