The proposed method for diagnosing West Nile fever implies detecting antibodies in the complement coupling reaction. As the diagnostic agent, antigen is used that is obtained by sucrose-acetone extraction from culture 4270 of West Nile fever virus produced as the suspension of the brain substance of an experimental mouse.
