METHOD FOR MONITORING OF FUNCTIONAL STATE OF CANCER PATIENT IN COURSE OF RADIOCHEMOTHERAPY

The method for monitoring of the functional state of cancer patient in the course of radiochemotherapy consists in round-the-clock monitoring of electrocardiogram at the different stages of the treatment. The circadian index (CI) is then calculated as mean daily heart rate to mean night heart rate ratio. When CI exceeds 1.24, the state of the patient is assessed as satisfactory one. When CI is inferior to 1.24, the state of the patient is assessed as unsatisfactory one.
