摘要

The proposed method for starting an asynchronous cage motor consists in connecting the motor to the mains by an inductive-capacitive converter with a magnetically-biased inductance coil. In order to increase the starting torque and provide the smooth start of the motor, the inductance of the inductance coil is reduced by the magnetic bias. For the magnetic bias, the separate winding of the inductance coil is used. At the start of the motor, the magnetic bias winding is connected to the capacitor of the inductive-capacitive converter via a thyristor. The capacitor is preliminarily charged from a separate voltage source. The output voltage of the voltage source is controlled depending of the load current of the motor.
