The proposed electronic ballasting device for power supply of a luminescence lamp contains a control circuit, a transistor switch, a transformer, a start pulse former, an adjusting resistor for adjusting the lamp current, and a polarity switch for power-supply voltage. The output of the start pulse former is connected to the control input of the switch. The adjusting resistor is inserted in series in the circuit of the secondary winding of the transformer.
