METHOD FOR ASSESSING FITNESS OF PILOTS WITH NEUROLOGICAL PATHOLOGY TO FLIGHTS IN CIVIL AVIATION OF UKRAINE

The method for assessing the fitness of the pilots with neurological pathology to the flights in the civil aviation of Ukraine provides for the certification medical appraisal. The fitness of the pilots with such pathology is assessed taking into account the presence and the extent of the acute and the chronic neurological states and the anamnesis in order to predict the possible lack of the working ability in the course of the flight jeopardizing flight safety. The electric non-stability of the brain is assessed by electroencephalography. The periodicity of electroencephalography is laid down by the class of the medical certificate, anamnesis and the clinical indications. The fitness of the pilots to the flights is assessed individually based on the strict clinical and diagnostic criteria.
