The process for treating the chronic heart failure in the patients with the reduced body mass consists in providing the basic therapy. Upon the attainment of the compensation, the drug blocking catabolism activation is additionally prescribed. The lipophilic beta-adrenoblocker is used with this aim at an average therapeutic dose. The fat content in the body is assessed prior to the treatment and one year later.
