The proposed method for determining the activity of N-acetyl-?-D-glucosaminedase in spermal plasma consists in adding nitrate buffer solution and the substrate solution to the native biological liquid, incubating the reaction mix at a temperature of 37 ?C, terminating the enzymatic reaction by adding sodium carbonate solution to the mix, and determining the optical density of the resulting product by photocolorimetric analysis. To analyze the activity, the plasma diluted 100 times is used. The incubation of the reaction mix is accomplished for 15 minutes. The analysis results are presented in relative units (?mol/h per 1 g of protein) and absolute units (?mol/(s?l)).
