Device for separation or grading rods or bars, e.g. sections, tubes etc. with a disk type tool, especially a circular saw having a working table and a roll pass (sic) for positioning and fixing the cut off pieces and a device for executing relative motion between the material to be cut and the saw. Several adjacent pieces (3) to be cut are arranged in a configuration of cross-section approaching the external contour of the saw (4), e.g. circular, V-shaped or U-shaped profile.
