Calmodulin-deficient mutant tyrosine phosphorylation, production process and its use in biological processes.; The invention provides a deficient in phosphorylation in at least one of the only two tyrosine residues of native CaM (CaM mutant Y99F, mutated CaM Y138F, CaM mutant Y99F / Y138F) mutant calmodulin protein (CaM) and method obtaining genetically engineered said mutated CaM. Applications that can be addressed with the mutated CaM of the present invention are very large, taking advantage has different physiological properties than the native CaM as cell signaling pathways which are involved phosphorylated forms of CaM in said removed mutated residues, among others, use in methods of identifying new inhibitors of CaM and to assess the effect of inhibitors of CaM already identified of great interest in the pharmaceutical field.
