The invention relates to an analytical process for the separation of volatile species, which can be used with liquid samples, solid samples or a mixture of both. The invention is characterised in that it comprises the hybridisation of the processes involved in analytical pervaporation and dynamic headspace techniques, as well as the design of a basic module for performing said analytical separation.
