Reservoir (24) of seed for a seed drill, comprising a container (25) with four walls (28, 30, 32, 34) and one side (36) upper open essentially horizontal and a cover (50) for closing the side (36) above, while the cap (50) is mounted in the container (25) displaceably by means of two rails (44) guide, wherein the cover (50) is mounted in the container (25) by two pins (54) which engage each in a rail (44) guide, while the cover (50), the rail 44 guide and the pins (54) are shaped such that the cover (50) can be pivoted in a position where the side (36) top is open, to a vertical position and that the rail (44) guide has a downwardly inclined part where penetrating pins (54) when the cover (50) is in its closed position.
