A clamp and a cutting blade are mounted on a telescoping arm articulated to a mast on a tractor-mounted work surface or low frame. Rollers actuate the clamp and the cutting blade as well as the telescoping arm. Another roller allows the mast to roll along the grounds of a pineapple or banana plantation. In operation, the clamp holds the stem of the pineapple or banana, while the cutting blade cuts the stem off the same.
