A thermoplastic starch polymer mixture is obtained by reactive extrusion in the presence of an acidic catalyst of a mixture of native starch and at least one hydrophobic polymer with addition of a hydrolyzed component based on polyvinyl acetate and of lower polyfunctional alcohols and/ or water is new.
