The solar tracker, which operates based on parallel kinematics, includes a fixed platform, a movable platform, and a carrier for solar panels. A central arm of variable length has one end embedded to the fixed platform and another end fixed to the geometric center of the movable platform by a gyro joint. Three arms of variable length have ends fixed to the fixed platform and movable platform by respective gyro joints.
