COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING A MIX OF METALLIC ACID NANOPIGMENTS AND MELANOTIC PIGMENTS

The invention relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, in a mixture, at least one metal oxide nanopigment chosen from the group consisting of oxides of titanium, zinc, cerium and zirconium, and mixtures thereof, with a mean diameter of less than 100 nm and at least one melanic pigment derived from natural or synthetic sources with a mean diameter of between 10 nm and 20 000 nm, in a cosmetically acceptable support. The addition of melanin pigments in a composition containing nanopigments of metal oxides having a particle size of less than 100 nm makes it possible, on the one hand, to reduce or inhibit the photoinduced reaction of the metal oxide nanopigments and, on the other hand, to reduce the whitening of the skin conferred by these nanopigments. The composition according to the invention is useful as a protective composition of the human epidermis or hair against UV rays, or as a makeup product.
