An apparatus for providing oxygen-enriched air at afirst pressure and at a second pressure, the secondpressure being greater than the first pressure. Theapparatus comprises, in combination, a pressure swingadsorption system and a pressure intensifier. Thepressure swing adsorption system for enriching the oxygencontent of air has a pressure of at least the firstpressure. The pressure swing adsorption system isadapted to provide oxygen-enriched air to a first outletat the first pressure and to provide oxygen-enriched airto a pressure intensifier at the first pressure. Thepressure intensifier pressurizes the oxygen-enriched airand provides the oxygen-enriched air to a second outletat the second pressure.
