A method for transmitting digitally coded data of aradio program (A) is proposed, in which the digitally codeddata are modulated by a modulation method, in particular byOFDM. The data are modulated to at least one carrier wave.The data are transmitted in a transmission frame. The methodis characterized in that the data of a radio program (A) aretransmitted, with at least one repetition, and then areevaluated in common. In this process the complex values (20,21), which have been furnished by the demodulator circuit(53), are added together.For a device for receiving digitally coded data of aradio program (A), it is proposed that in it, not only anhigh-frequency conversion stage (51), an analog/digitalconverter (52) and a demodulator circuit (53) but also abuffer memory (57) are provided, in which buffer memory atleast the data of the time segment of the radio program (A)upon the initial transmission are buffer-stored, and finallyan adder stage (58) is provided, in which the data in thebuffer memory (57) are added to the corresponding data uponthe repeat transmission of the radio program (A) (Fig. 5).
