An endoprosthesis for repairing and treating abdominal aortic aneurysms. Theendoprosthesis features an anchoring and sealing component (100) and lowprofile bifurcated legs (104, 106). A biocompatible graft material is securedto at least the bifurcated legs in order to provide two endoleg fluid flowlumens or conduits. The bifurcated legs have staggered stent elements (118)that nest to contribute to the low profile nature of the device and additionallongitudinal struts (300) between pair of the staggered stent elements toincrease the longitudinal stiffness of the bifurcated legs while maintainingthe patency of the lumen created thereby.
