Provided is a discussion system and method for Internet-based reasonabledecision-making tool, capable of inducing healthy discussion prosecution by asystematic and standardized discussion procedure and rule to solve variouspoints at issue or conflicts and decision-making generated in a society, anenterprise and group; and of establishing theory and knowledge by creating amodel that can extract all information, knowledge, suggestion and propositionof a group needed for decision-making through interactive discussion ping-pongby structural objec- tification for each case and inducing a conclusion. Thesystem is capable of selectively specifying and operating a differentdiscussion prosecuting procedure for each nature and type of the discussionusing a pre-classified and registered discussion rule; defining a role of alldiscussion participants such as a moderator, a panel, a stakeholder, and anaudience; and producing and managing discussion information in a hierarchicalstructure of discussion clas¬ sification information, subtopic information,suggestions, suggestion grounds, and counter¬ arguments. The system comprisesa special statement editor capable of breaking down an argument for eachdetailed point at issue and structurally registering it. The system has afunction of performing interactive ping-pong on various arguments andarguments for each point at issue, structurally enquiring a ping-pongsituation, analyzing all suggested arguments and counter¬ arguments to definea logical structure, correlation and nature between arguments, kicking outlogically unsuitable arguments and defective arguments based on the logicalstructure, correlation and nature, defining an evaluation rule that can definelogical reasonableness of the argument based on a nature definition and ping-pong resu and performing systematic, automatic evaluation for each detailedcase on suitability of the suggestion.
