The invention relates to medicine, in particular to mammology and oncology. The inventive method for verifying early cyclomastopathy and breast cancer diagnosis consists in carrying out examination of breast cyst content in addition to standard cytological examinations in order to detect the endometrial protein of alpha-2-microglobulin fertility (AMGF, glycodelin) by a solid-phase immunoassay. The detection of the AMGF in the cyst makes it possible to confirm the cytological diagnosis of a breast intracystic cancer with 80 % probability. The absence of the AMGF in the breast cyst content makes it possible to diagnosticate a nodal cyclomastopathy with high probability (99%).
