Provided is a DVD player including a control portion detecting whether an MP3 player is connected to a connection interface portion, providing a command to display a total list by reading a file system of a DVD when the MP3 player is detected to be connected to a connection interface portion, and providing a selection menu screen to a user to select a portion of the total list to be converted into an MP3 file so that the selected portion is reproduced, an audio data converting portion converting audio data of an audio elementary packet read from the DVD into audio data in MPEG Layer 3 format, a subtitle-lyric converting portion recognizing subtitle data in bitmap graphic file format of a subtitle elementary packet as a text and converting the recognized subtitle data into lyric data in text format, and a connection interface portion outputting the audio data in MPEG Layer 3 format and the lyric data to an MP3 player according to a predetermined rule.
