A MEANS AND METHOD FOR ACHIEVING BUTT-CONTACT WITH THE ADVANCED EXCHANGE PLATFORM

A means and a method for achieving butt-contact with advanced exchange platform are disclosed, which are used to butt-contact SDH/SONET network with AS platform. At the uplink direction, it comprises: the line-side interface process module receives SDH/SONET network frame and fixes this frame, dismisses interference to the frame; demodulating frame process module demodulates the frame dismissed interference to extract the payload wherein; the encapsulation module encapsulates the extracted payload to the AS packet according to packet format of said AS platform, and sends it to AS platform via AS interface process module. At the down-link direction, it comprises: AS interface process module receives AS packet which is exchanged and processed by AS platform, and demodulates the packet in the demodulating packet module, and extracts the payload in the AS packet; mapping module maps the said payload into SDH/SONET network frame; line side interface process module sends SDH/SONET network after it disturbs said SDH/SONET network frame.
