The decorative cornice (10) is constituted from two parts. One part (21) is fixed and the other, a cover (20), is movable. The fixed part is hooked to a leg (60) by a cavity (70) in the fixed part. A threaded rod (80) has three functions. The first is to be anchored to the wall, the second to the fixing leg and the third to have at its end a take up point for different future fixing pieces. In the lower part of the fixed piece is a hole which enables evacuation of water. The movable part is held by different ribs (40) and a bolt (41).
