Microcapsules with aqueous core, containing at least one water-soluble agent and polymeric and/or wax shell, are new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) cosmetic or dermatological composition in a support, comprising the microcapsules; (2) process of production of microcapsules as claimed, comprising (a) dissolving of at least one active agent in aqueous phase; (b) emulsifying obtained aqueous solution in solution of at least one polymer and/or at least one wax in organic solvent non-miscible with water; (c) emulsifying primary water/oil emulsion obtained at stage (b) in aqueous solution containing stabilizer; and (d) elimination of organic solvent by evaporation, to produce aqueous suspension of microcapsules.
