Vinyl polymer adhesive using glass powder as a filler. The glass powder includes the use of recycled automotive and architectural glass as a filler material for several vinyl polymer adhesives, such as hot melt adhesives, polyvinyl chlordie adhesives, and vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) emulsion adhesives. The glass powder may have an average particle size between 100 and 400 mesh.
