The invention concerns a method for measuring the average volume temperature of a body subjected to a treatment, which consists, during said treatment, in performing the following steps: (a) picking up, with a sensor (11), a radiometric signal emitted by the body, (b) transmitting, through a connecting member (12), said signal emitted from said sensor to a radiometer (10), (c) detecting, through the radiometer, a signal transmitted, the transmitted signal depending at least on the emitted signal and on at least one characteristic of the connecting member, (d) evaluating said temperature from said transmitted signal and an estimated value of said at least one characteristic of the member, the estimated value of the characteristic of the member being previously evaluated during a step (e) performed during the treatment.
