The cover has a casing formed by assembling two panels provided with assembling/dismantling unit facilitating installation of a feather bed (2) in the casing or its removal. Each panel has a principal part (11) that includes lateral edges. The panels have identical dimensions so that the casing formed by the assembling of the panels is arranged to make head and foot flaps (121, 122), respectively. An independent claim is also included for a bed linen cover for covering a feather bed.
