The invention relates to a method for regenerating water with a low-oxygen atmosphere. The aim of the invention is to provide a method and a device with which water can be regenerated more effectively and which is suitable for mobile use. For this purpose, the method for regenerating water with a low-oxygen atmosphere is characterized by mingling the water to be regenerated at a high pressure in the range of from 6 to 20 bar, preferably 8 bar, with air or oxygen having the same pressure.
