Cosmetic treatment, prevention, retardation and/or limitation of the signs of ageing of skin, mucous membranes or appendages, comprises applying a transdermal delivery system (A) comprising a composition (C) containing a non-indispensable micronutrient (I) to the skin, mucous membranes or scalp. An independent claim is also included for (A) in the form of patch (controlled release patches, reservoir system, magnetic field effect patches, gel patches with a base of hydrocolloid, oily gel patches and composite films of reservoir type) comprising theaflavine (0.001-10 g/cm 3 of (C)).
