The method involves integrating modeled units in a database accessible by users. A 2D or 3D modeling tool is provided for a client by a management unit and a space is modeled with the tool by the client on his local unit (UL1). The modeled units in the database are selected by the client. The selected units in the space are positioned by the user on his local unit. The units positioned in the space are visualized in 2D or 3D.
