Method for managing condtional access to video streams by a router / DSLAM

The process involves receiving, by a routing device (12), a request for a multimedia unit to obtain a specific content. The device determines access conditions connected to the content and the unit. The content is broadcasted or not, based on the determination result, to the unit on transmitting the request. A cycle of revaluation of multimedia unit`s rights is executed by repeating the determination and broadcasting steps.
