The device has a hand-held PDA with a GPS module (1) for determination of the coordinates of the accident location coupled to a map (2) and with further interfaces for modules for collection and adjustment of infrastructure risk characteristics, storing acquired infrastructure data, digital recording of the accident report, transmission of the stored infrastructure data in the accident report and/or for storing, printing out and/or transferring the complete accident report.
