The first and second unreeling belt drive roller as well as splicing drive roller (11) are run by means of engine motor (13). A clutch is fitted by means of which each connection e.g. first unreeling belt drive roller (5) and first unreeling belt (4), second unreeling belt drive roller (7) and second unreeling belt (6) and splice drive roller are propelled over one common driving belt (12). An independent claim is also included for a procedure for connecting the end part of first fabric sheet with beginning part of second fabric sheet.
