PURPOSE: A vinyl type thermoplastic resin composition which can reduce scratches occurred onto produced article, thereby improving the appearance of the article is provided by adding vinyl type copolymer of ultra high molecular weight to a vinyl type copolymer containing an inorganic filler such as glass fibre. CONSTITUTION: A vinyl type thermoplastic resin composition with excellent appearance feature is characteristically comprised of (A) vinyl type copolymer 50-80 parts by weight (B) inorganic filler of 2-50 parts by weight and (C) vinyl type copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of more than 700000, of 0.2-15 parts by weight. The vinyl type copolymer is selected from a group consisting of styrene, t-butyl styrene, alpha methyl styrene, p-methyl styrene, vinyl toluene, monochlorostyrene, dichlorostyrene, dibromostyrene, ethylstyrene, vinylnaphtalene, divinylbenzene, and mixtures thereof, and characterized by having a weight average molecular weight of 2000-500000. The inorganic filler is characteristically selected from a group consisting of glass fibre, glass bubble, glass bead, carbon fibre, talc, silica, mica, and alumina.
