The Water-Soluble Polyurethane Resin Compound and Preparation of the Synthetic Leather Thereof

PURPOSE: A water dispersible polyurethane resin composition for the manufacture of artificial leather and a method for manufacturing artificial leather using the composition are provided. The artificial leather produced by this method shows equal physical properties with artificial leather produced by using oil-based polyurethane and also is similar in elasticity and touch feel to natural leather. CONSTITUTION: The method is characterized by reacting polyol having an average molecular weight of 200-400, a silicone-base additive of formula(1) and isocyanate; dispersing the resin composition in water; including non-woven fabric in the water-dispersed resin composition; and then decreasing the quantity in a basic solution.
