COMPOSITION FOR PHOTOINDUCED LIQUID CRYSTAL ALIGNMENT HAVING POROUS STRUCTURE, THE FILM FOR PHOTOINDUCED LIQUID CRYSTAL ALIGNMENT THEREBY, MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME AND THE LIGUID CRYSTAL CELL COMPRISING THE FILM
PURPOSE: Provided are a liquid crystal alignment composition having a porous structure and improving electric optical properties, a liquid crystal alignment film using the liquid crystal alignment composition, and high resolution and high quality liquid crystal element containing the liquid crystal alignment film. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal alignment composition having the porous structure comprises a polymer mixture containing 0.1-10wt%(based on the polymer mixture) of a pore forming material, wherein the pore forming material is at least one selected from a pentane polymer, a hexane polymer, a heptane polymer, methanol, ethanol, and acetone and the polymer mixture is at least one selected from an aliphatic polyolefin polymer, a polystyrene polymer, an acryl polymer, a polyamide polymer, a polyacetal polymer, a phenol polymer, an epoxide polymer, a polyurethane polymer, a polyisocyanurate polymer, and a polysiloxane polymer. The liquid crystal alignment film is produced by a process comprising the steps of: dissolving the polymer mixture in an organic solvent; mixing the resultant solution with the pore forming material or with a mixture of a polymer mixed liquid crystal alignment and the pore forming material; coating the resultant solution on a substrate(20) to form the alignment film(10); and aligning liquid crystals of the alignment film(10). And the liquid crystal element contains the liquid crystal alignment film(10).
