A racing type pedal includes a main body (10), a pivot hook (12), a metallic bushing (16), an adjusting bolt (15), a press block (14), and two torsion springs (13). A snap block structure includes a snapping plate (2), an anti-skid pad (3), and an insertion plate (4). Thus, the racing type pedal is both available for the road-use bicycle shoes and the mountaineering shoes by provision of the snap block structure, thereby greatly enhancing the versatility of the racing type pedal.
