摘要

A method of planning simultaneous use of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis, characterized in that use is made of a dialytic effect exhibiting index common to peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. In particular, the method is characterized in that the quotient of the ratio of M/C(0), in which M represents the amount of solute removed within a given period of time and C(0) the concentration of solute in blood before dialysis, divided by VB representing the volume of patient's body fluid, namely, M/C(0)/VB is used as the above index. Although in the prior art in the performing of therapy simultaneously using PD (peritoneal dialysis) and HD (hemodialysis), common parameter being an index for prescription study is not known and thus relevant planning has been extremely difficult, in this method the dialytic effect of PD and HD can be expressed as an integrated sum as apparent from the above with the result that simple and clear planning for simultaneous use of PD and HD can be carried out.
